Coppice Collection

Miniature needle-felted sculptures inspired by nature and handmade by Bethany.

Each of the miniature landscapes has its own story, taking inspiration from its unique ceramic pot, handmade by local artist, Darcy Hill. The landscapes can be used as pincushions and act as lids, so you can keep orts, keys, paperclips and other odds and ends safely in the pot at the same time as admiring a tiny work of art.

Bethany was inspired by her childhood to create the trees, from artists such as van der Beek (who created the classic Noddy illustrations for Enid Blyton), Peter Firmin and William Heath Robinson, and classic BBC TV shows like Camberwick Green and Trumpton. These quirky little seasonal trees are planted in vintage egg-cups and sake cups which Bethany finds in local charity shops, at fleamarkets or on online auction sites.
