Protect small treasures with a simple yet intricate cross stitch pincushion that doubles as a lid for a pot or box.
The stitched model is shown mounted on a handmade oval shaker box made by Keith Shorrock Furniture in Cumbria.
The method used to create the lid is included in the instructions so you can add a lid to any box or pot you want to decorate. You can use the same method for any piece of stitching - just keep a look out for pretty vintage sugar bowls or tea cups in local charity shops to use as bases!
